I am so grateful for the gospel of Jesus Christ in my life. I definitely haven't taken advantage of it near as much as I should have, but I am looking to change all of that. I love my Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ, and I am so grateful and humbled to know that Christ atoned for ME. I have always heard about the atonement and how he did it for everyone, and believed in it and somewhat had a testimony of it, but I have not used it in my own life to know of a surety that he did indeed atone for ME. He loves me and wants the best for me. He knows exactly what I am going through and is there to help me pick myself back up when I fall.
I am so grateful for my friends and family. They are such good examples to me and I look up to each of them so much. I also know that they love me, and genuinely want the best for me, and I want the best for them.
I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the true Church, and through His gospel, we can return to live with him if we make the covenants that are necessary in our lives, and keep those covenants. I know that the Book of Mormon is true, it was written for us in this time, and the authors of it truly saw this dispensation and knew what we would be going through. I am so grateful for the Book of Mormon, it testifies of Christ and is the keystone of our religion because it testifies of everything that we know to be true.
I love this gospel, and the hope that it brings into my life, that I can be pure again and live with my Heavenly Father, and savior, Jesus Christ. I am grateful for eternal marriages, and that I can be with the ones I love for Time and All Eternity instead of those horrid words until death do you part.
I am grateful for modern-day prophets. Currently I am in love with a talk given by Jeffrey R. Holland in the April 2012 General Conference titled "The Laborers In the Vineyard" I recommend either reading it, or watching him give it on lds.org because anyone can learn something from this talk. I love this gospel, and I hope and pray that someday I can repay everything that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have done for me, because they have done a lot, and everyday I am grateful for them. I say these things, in the name of my Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Oh hello, Summer! I've missed you.
So here I am, the summer has begun and I have nothing to do! I find myself doing a lot of cleaning to organize all of my stuff back into my room (I have a lot of stuff that I didn't realize I had) and spending an amazing amount of time watching One Tree Hill :). But it's been good! I wouldn't have it any other way because the last little bit of the semester was stressful! I needed to keep a 3.6 GPA in order to keep my scholarship, and I had a 3.57 so I was trying desperately to get it up by .03, and guess what! I failed :( (i didn't literally fail a class, just failed at getting the .03 points to get my GPA up). I failed by .01. I was SO CLOSE and yet, SO FAR. :(. I currently have a 3.59, which is bad news considering my scholarship, but still good news because a 3.5 is a competitive GPA to get into the Dietetics programs at USU.
I am super excited for this summer! Even though currently I am not doing anything with my life, the rest of the summer will be completely different than this week. I am the Outdoor Skills Director at Bear Lake Aquatics Base (BLAB) which is a Scout Camp! It will be a completely different experience for me and I am very excited to learn how to be a leader, and deal with different types of people, and to spend my summer at Bear Lake! I am very nervous because I don't know a whole lot about scouting, and I don't know what exactly I am in charge of, but the good news is that there is a overnight training tonight for the whole staff so I will be able to meet my staff! And we will go over a bunch of stuff that we need to know. The other good/fun news is that in a week I get to go to Colorado for National Camp School! So I can learn more about my merit badges (orienteering, pioneering, wilderness survival, etc.) and that way I will be a lot more prepared for doing what I need to do, and knowing what I need to know! So I am excited for this opportunity! Also, my two brothers are also working at BLAB, so that will be really fun as well.
These pictures are from a little bit ago ... but I am posting about them now because I am still getting used to blogging!

The Saturday before Finals week, I went to the Military Ball with all of my cousins! The National Guard puts on the Ball, and my Uncle and Cousin are a part of the National Guard, so they got the idea to have all of the cousins take dates! Let me tell you, these dances are the most fun dances that I have ever been to. The band plays, so it's live music that you dance to, and you can do swing and waltz, and all other sorts of dancing! This year, I went with my good friend Jeffrey Poole. I went with him once before in High School, and I wanted to go with him again because he is a very good dancer! As you can see, in the picture, I wore red TOMS and loved it! It was a very fun night!

Well ... Here goes Nothing
Hey! Thanks for visiting my blog, if there is anyone reading this. This is the first post and I am not sure what exactly I want to write but I'll just write whatever comes to mind that I feel the need to share, so sorry if I ramble. So, Here goes nothing!
Currently I am just very game for life! I do not know what the future holds, and some days that makes me extremely worried, and other days it just makes me happy because I am reminded that I have my life ahead of me and I can decide what I want to do with it! The next couple years of my life are going to be filled with fun memories and different experiences and I am excited to see what happens.
One thing that is on my mind currently is General Conference. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and this weekend our leaders and prophets are going to be giving talks to teach us what we need to know. Now normally I get excited for Conference because it means family vacations and church in pajamas, which in my case means Feety Pajamas! But this time around I am excited to hear the talks that are going to be shared! I have a couple of questions and I am excited for the prophet to answer them. I am also excited because I am going to be going to Jenessa's family cabin with her and Tori! It will be fun.
